5.11.24 There was a groupon offer for $10 to use at TCBY and I only paid $4.20 for the voucher. I was able to use it during two visits. The first time I got a small cup with two scoops of Sea Salt Caramel Truffle and Chewy Brownie. During my second visit I got the Peanut Butter Delight and the Chewy Brownie. All three flavors were good. My favorite was the PB Delight. Aside from frozen yogurt that you can get in a cone or cup, they also have: chillers, shakes, cakes, pies, prepackaged pints, and gift cards. They also have daily deals in which you can get $1 or $2 off.
Shoutout to the employee working late night on Waffle Cone Wednesday. He was energetic, nice, and a great energy. He gave us great recs, was not concerned about how many samples my friends and I asked for, and was just overall full of laughs. It was a quite late night at TCBY, but the employee brought plenty of energy for my friends and I. While wafflecone wednesday is still relatively overpriced for frozen yogurt (no longer the nostalgic 99 cents), there is a good number of selections and the salted brownie ice cream was great and really hit the taste. Its a small store, but still has some seating space for a group of 5ish with two kiddie tables. Great vibes, good selection of froyo/ice cream flavors, and quick and easy from in and out. There was no line when we entered, so the employee working had a good time making conversation with us. There is also a freezer with pints of ice cream ready made, if you want to just walk in and out and take some home.
Haven't been here in so long! Came here with my two little brothers and we all got the cotton candy ice cream!! I got the kiddie size and my brothers got small. Was yummy ice cream! It was very creamy. Place is small but still has a few seats. There are pints of ice cream for purchase as well as a few other desserts! They have variety of icecream flavor as well as froyo and toppings to go with. The staff were super friendly! And gave us a few laughs and compliments!
So, it's a few days after Christmas an albeit living as a bubble girl, peopling has been exhaustive. Not to mention, the day is overcast. Depression City. I run into TCBY to get a milkshake. I wanted a quick transaction with no real interaction... or so I thought. Out comes a cheerful guy, black, I'm guessing in his late 30s/40s. He's happy. But not annoyingly happy. He's the perfect happy to that instantly makes you happy. We joke a little bit and I ask for his help to decide between two flavors. We agree on Strawberries & Cream, large, because YOLO. We chat about Christmas & Christmas movies, he rings me up, asks me my name and sends me on my way. I learn, the next customer has my name too... we all laugh. Yea, it was just a regular schmegular milkshake and I'm just a regular schmegular customer. But... I needed a smile. The milkshake helped, but the customer service was what I needed. So thank you sir. You don't know how much I needed a smile today.
My family stop here right after we finish our lunch from Vietnam food. It was closed by. We just walk up here if we needed to. The place is small. They have ice cream and frozen yogurt. The staff are friendly and nice. You can try out the before you can buy them. If you want extra topping, you have to pay more. We all just got the kidney side one.
